In 2006, Enfants du Mékong spent € 905 772 to finance 90 development projects and improved the immediate environment of children.
This involves micro-projects in constructing schools, renovating classrooms and buying school materials. In addition particular requests such as buying bicycles to allow sponsored children to get to school, to re-build houses destroyed by flooding or natural disasters and to buy lands and animals. Projects are financed by companies, individual donators, pupils support and clubs.
The projects are always in response to local requests.
