Sponsoring children
Schooling sponsorship is the best way to prevent life on the streets, prostitution, forced labour and drug abuse.
sponsors 22,000 children and sustains 60,000 children in Vietnam , Laos , Cambodia , Thailand and the Philippines.
Becoming sponsored guarantees going to school but is also an access to food, clothing and healthcase.

Long term development projects
In 2006, spent € 905 772 in supporting 90 development projects to improve the environment for both children and their families.
This was in the formal micro-projects such as building schools, renovating classrooms or buying school materials. In some cases, we helped to rebuild houses after a natural disaster. We also bought arable land and cattle or bicycles for the children to get to school. All programmes answer a local demand. They can only be approved after an on the spot study.
The programmes are financed by private donors and company sponsorship.

Sending volunteers to Asia
Every year, 30 volunteers join local staff to help populations in the five countries where we work. These volunteers, called « Bamboos », are responsible for the coordination and management of sponsorship programmes in partnership with the local population. Some of them administrate the long-term development projects.
Our volunteers finance themselves during their mission, so they are one of our guarantees of the financial transparency in our humanitarian work.
